Professional Lobbying: Expertise, Strategy, and Results
The First Ukrainian-American Strategic Lobbying and Advocacy Company has assembled a team of a new kind of lobbyist—they are not merely communicators, but specialists with deep industry expertise and a systematic approach to advocacy.
All of the company’s lobbyists hold bachelor’s degrees and are certified professionals, as well as members of the Ukrainian National Lobbyists Association. Each of them specializes in a specific industry: finance, healthcare, transportation, construction, the banking sector, and other fields.
This approach allows us not only to represent our clients’ interests, but also to gain a deep understanding of the specific regulatory framework, market dynamics, and stakeholders in each particular sector.
Lobbying isn’t just about meetings
The common perception of lobbying as simply organizing meetings with government officials is incorrect.
The key question that kicks off our work with a client is defining the desired outcome. It is precisely this specific goal that shapes our strategy: we identify relevant stakeholders, relevant committees, regulatory bodies, and levers of influence.
Strategy as the Foundation of Advocacy
The lobbying process involves several basic steps:
- analysis of the issue and the context;
- strategy development;
- identification of stakeholders;
- identifying channels of influence;
- Implementation of an advocacy campaign.
This systematic approach makes it possible to move from formal contacts to achieving concrete results.
Work after the meeting
Organizing a meeting is just one tool, but it is not the ultimate goal.
The real work begins afterward—it involves ongoing communication, overseeing the process, and seeing the matter through to a practical outcome.
It is precisely this distinction that defines professional lobbying as a comprehensive service that combines analysis, strategy, and systematic engagement with government authorities.
